Selecting P4S supports your professional organization, while P4S supports your district.
The Power4Schools program is a partnership between the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO), the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA), the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) and the Ohio Schools Council (OSC) which offers electric generation savings for Ohio school districts.

Traditional All-Inclusive Option & Energy-Only Programs

Energy-Only Option
The Energy-Only option provides pricing on just energy generation and has proven to be the best value for our members. All other components (losses, transmission, congestion, reliability must run charges, ancillary services, and capacity) are passed through to the district, without vendor markups, ensuring that P4S districts are receiving the lowest cost electricity service available.

Benefits:
• Increased probability of getting lower overall prices
• Pay for actual use and demand, not estimates
• Costs passed through to the district creates a more competitive price by reducing vendor risk and inclination to add Mark ups to the pass through costs.

Traditional All-Inclusive Option

The Modified All-Inclusive option includes energy and all other components with the exception of congestion and losses and generally includes risk premium.

Benefits:
• Easier to budget electricity costs
• Protected from increases in the district’s electricity demands and loads
• Continues to rely on suppliers to manage many of the cost risks
