What is one of the best ways your school district can reduce its future energy costs?
Sign up for our no cost Peak Load Alerts.

Every school district pays for electricity capacity charges based on the amount of electricity load or demand they use when energy usage is at its peak in a given region –– usually determined by the 5 hottest days of the summer.

Every customer’s peak demand on those 5 days is known as Peak Load Contribution (PLC). The PLC Alert helps schools identify potential Peak days. By alerting you to the potential five peak contribution days that set your peak load contribution (PLC) charge, we enable you to proactively reduce your electric energy use in order to lower your overall electricity bill for the next year.
